Training good specialists and binding them to the region is vital in order for Lörrach to remain a strong place of business. In its role as a promoter of business, Innocel has set its sights on promoting education and further training. To reach this goal, it has launched the following projects under the heading of "School & Business":

• phaenovum® – Student Research Center of Lörrach and the Tri-border Region
• IT Seminar Lörrach – Robotics for secondary school students (Realschule) in grade 9 or higher who have an interest in and talent for technology.
• HauptschulTrainee – Partnership with projects to promote more in-depth occupational orientation at the Pastalozzi and Neumatt secondary schools (Hauptschule)
• "Nur Mut" – An academic forum featuring Jugendtheater Tempus Fugit, a youth theater troupe presenting topics surrounding the career choices and future plans of secondary school graduates
• EuropeTrainee – Vocational internship in England and France for youths during their initial training period
• Lörrach Online – Natural power for power kids – multimedia at the schools of Lörrach

The District of Lörrach has 12 youth agencies with an extensive information network. (see www.jugendagenturen.de )

Innocel offers platforms where businesses can find information and collaborate with one another.

The Industry and Economic Development Committee deals with the general economic conditions that exist for companies in Lörrach.
